Privacy Policy — GlowFrame

Overview

GlowFrame ("the App") is developed and maintained by Dustin Koopmans (trading as Koopware). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Collection

The App collects minimal data:

• Photos: GlowFrame accesses your device photo library in read-only mode to display photos as a slideshow. Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, copied, or shared with us or any third party. All photo processing happens entirely on your device.
• App preferences: Your slideshow settings (transition style, interval, clock style, brightness preferences) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. These settings never leave your device.
• Advertising data: Our free version displays a small, non-intrusive banner advertisement. Our advertising partners may collect anonymous device identifiers (Advertising ID, Device ID) to serve relevant ads.

Permissions

GlowFrame requests the following device permissions:

• Photo Library (read-only): Required to access and display your photos as a slideshow. The App only reads photos — it cannot modify, delete, or create files in your photo library.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other device features.

Data Storage

All user data (slideshow settings and preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. Your photos remain on your device at all times and are never transmitted over any network.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Start.io (StartApp): For displaying advertisements. Start.io may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) and device information for ad serving purposes. Start.io Privacy Policy

No Account Required

GlowFrame does not require any user account, login, or registration. There is no cloud sync, no analytics beyond the ad SDK, and no personal information collected by the App itself.

Children's Privacy

The App is a general audience utility application. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not contain any child-directed content, characters, or activities.

Your Rights

You can manage your data at any time by:

• Revoking photo library access in your device settings to prevent the App from reading photos
• Clearing the app's data in your device settings to reset all preferences
• Uninstalling the app to remove all associated data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
