Hydration Tracker ("the App") is developed and maintained by Koopware. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Collection

The App collects minimal data:

• Hydration logs: Individual drink entries (amount in ml, timestamp), your daily water intake goal, preferred units (ml or oz), and reminder settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your hydration data and it is never uploaded to any server.
• App preferences: Your theme choice and other settings are stored locally on your device.
• Advertising data: Our free version displays a small, non-intrusive banner advertisement. Our advertising partners may collect anonymous device identifiers (Advertising ID, Device ID) to serve relevant ads. You can remove ads entirely with a one-time in-app purchase.

Permissions

Hydration Tracker requires zero device permissions. No camera, no microphone, no contacts, no location, no health data, no storage access. The App functions entirely without any special permissions.

Data Storage

All user data (hydration logs, daily goals, reminder preferences, theme) is stored locally on your device using standard encrypted mobile storage. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. Your hydration history never leaves your device.

Health Data Disclaimer

Hydration Tracker is a simple logging utility — not a medical device. The daily water intake goals are general wellness suggestions and are not medical advice. If you have a medical condition that affects your fluid intake, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on any target shown in the app.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Start.io (StartApp): For displaying advertisements in the free version. Start.io may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) and device information for ad serving purposes. Start.io Privacy Policy
• Amazon In-App Purchasing: For processing the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Amazon handles all payment details directly; Koopware never sees your payment information.

Children's Privacy

The App is a general audience health and wellness utility designed for adults to log their daily water intake. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not contain any child-directed content, characters, or activities and is age-restricted to 16+ on the Amazon Appstore.

Your Rights

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by:

• Removing individual drink entries within the App
• Clearing the app's data in your device settings to reset all preferences
• Uninstalling the app to remove all associated data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
