Overview

MedMinder ("the App") is developed and maintained by Koopware. We are committed to protecting your privacy, especially when it comes to your health-related data. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Collection

The App collects minimal data:

• Medication and health data: All your medication schedules, dose logs, and health tracking data are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your health data and it is never uploaded to any server.
• App preferences: Your theme choice and other settings are stored locally on your device.
• Advertising data: Our free version displays a small, non-intrusive banner advertisement. Our advertising partners may collect anonymous device identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can remove all ads with a one-time in-app purchase.

Health Data Privacy

We take the privacy of your health information very seriously:

• Your medication names, dosages, schedules, and dose history are stored exclusively on your device.
• No health data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• We do not use your health data for advertising purposes.
• The advertising SDK does not have access to your medication or health data.

Permissions

MedMinder requires zero device permissions. No camera, no microphone, no contacts, no location, no storage access. The App functions entirely without any special permissions.

Data Storage

All user data (medications, dose logs, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. Your health information never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Start.io (StartApp): For displaying advertisements. Start.io may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) and basic device information for ad serving purposes. Start.io Privacy Policy

When you purchase the ad-free upgrade, no advertising SDKs are active and no advertising data is collected.

In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. This transaction is processed entirely by the app store (Amazon Appstore or Huawei AppGallery). We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information.

Children's Privacy

The App is a general audience utility application. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not contain any child-directed content, characters, or activities.

Medical Disclaimer

MedMinder is a medication tracking tool designed to help you remember your daily medications. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions regarding your medications.

Your Rights

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by:

• Using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings to delete all medications and dose history
• Clearing the app's data in your device settings to reset all preferences
• Uninstalling the app to remove all associated data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
